Klein Curaçao is a small, uninhabited, tropical bounty island with a pearl-white beach, an azure sea, a spectacular reef and a beautiful underwater world. It has the whitest and longest beach of Curaçao, and it is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

A day trip to Klein Curacao
For over 35 years, trips to the uninhabited island of Klein Curacao have been organized. Two providers have been there almost from day 1 and these are still the most complete trips to this day, namely Mermaid Boat Trips and Miss Ann Boat Trips. These two day trips include the use of a private beach house, with lounge chairs, parasols, toilets and freshwater showers. Especially for families with children, these are the better day trips to book.
If you choose one of the other providers and go on one of the Irie Tours catamarans or on the Blue Finn catamarans, you will be dropped off on the island without any further facilities. The necessary shade but no sunbeds etc.
What is included in the day trip?
All excursions to Klein Curacao are all inclusive, there is an open bar all day long, at noon there is a BBQ lunch and on the way back to Curacao there is always happy hour. Usually you will be offered a nice cocktail. With the exception of Mermaid and Miss Ann, alcohol is included in the open bar on all day trips to Klein Curacao.
Where do the Klein Curacao excursions depart?
Each excursion has a different boarding point. You can leave from Jan Thiel beach, Santa Barbara beach or travel from the Spanish Water to Klein Curacao. The crossing takes about one to one and a half hours. If you go with the Powerboat you will be on the island within 45 minutes.
Spotting dolphins and sea turtles
Along the way, there is a good chance that you will encounter a group of wild dolphins. The boat providers will then follow them for a while or stop the boat so that you can optimally enjoy this magical spectacle.
